Pomaria Lutheran Church is building to be more accessible for everyone!
The new building features two handicapped accessible bathrooms on the same level as the sanctuary and a lift for those who may struggle with the stairs.
The new addition also adds a proper sacristy and will provide more space for mingling before and after worship.

We created over 80 quilts from September 2024 through August 2025. On September 7th, we blessed them and boxed them up to be sent to Lutheran World Relief.
Global Outreach

Our quilts are made for Lutheran World Relief and sent to children and families in need worldwide. When disasters strike or wars break out, LWR is prepared to dispatch assistance. Quilting is one way we practice Jesus' command to "love one another as I first loved you." John 13:34

On the third Thursday of every month, we host a free community meal open to all. Our goal is simple: to create a place where neighbors can connect, build relationships, and strengthen our community. Volunteers take turns providing the meal, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Each gathering includes “something extra”—a short program, music, or time for conversation and connection.

This summer, we are offering Story-time at the Pomaria Community Center. We have collected hundred of books and each week, children are invited to take a book home. In addition to reading, we sing songs and have playtime. In July, we are hoping to expand into a local mobile home community.
